The Altacut software system and database was developed out of a need to control stock, minimise material wastage, increase template cutting accuracy and remove the risks associate with some forms on manual template manufacturing.

The Altacut software system was designed and developed by Altapac Services Pty. Ltd. who are one of the first automotive window film applicators to be established in Australia. Through it’s long history and experience with unsuccessful methods of storing templates for every make, model and year of vehicle, Altapac decided to take on the challenge of developing a computer cutting system to replace the existing labour intensive methods of preparing an automotive tint template for application. After over 15 years on experience, Altapac is now able to share the advantages in moving to a computer cutting system with other businesses looking to move forward by increasing efficiencies and ultimately their bottom line.
